If, in the direction of travel, the relative rate of interactions between particles slows down as the particles approach the speed of light, then does the rate of interactions between particles perpendicular to the direction of travel also slow down? I don't think so... So that would mean that chemistry, or particle physics, would get really weird, flattened out, -- kind of pancaked probability clouds...
